In JavaScript, array could be numbers, strings or objects, or maybe boolean. But it could be also a mix of all of that.

Inside of Square Brackets [ ] everything is an array element.

Numbers Array: const number = [ 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 ];

Strings Array: const names= [ ‘Rahim’, ‘Rakib’, ‘Johnny’, ‘Joe’ ];

Objects Array: const objects= [ {name: ‘Fahim’ , age: 24, male: true}, {name: ‘Kathy’ , age: 22, male: false} ];

Booleans Array: const booleans = [ adult: true, male: false, ];

const mix = [ 1, 2, 5, 8, {name: ‘Fahim’ , age: 24, male: true}, ‘Rahim’, adult: true ];

What is TypeScript?

Ans:- TypeScript is a programming language. It’s a Superset of JavaScript.

What does it do?

Ans:- It defines the type. JavaScript doesn’t have the type while coding. Besides TypeScript has.

The file name in TypeScript ends with .ts & .tsx

How it work?

It works like JavaScript. When the .ts file compiles it makes a .js file as same as that. Basically, the TypeScript becomes a JavaScript file.

Example:-

var learning = “TypeScript”;

This is how we write variables in JavaScript.

var learning: string = “TypeScript”;

And this is how we write variables in TypeScript. We tell that the value of learning is a type of String.

Bonus:

Microsoft made TypeScript on 1st October 2012.

Features:

  1. Types
  2. Interfaces
  3. Inheritance
  4. Enums
  5. Tuples
  6. Generics
  7. Shapes
  8. Decorators
